I'll start. I'm Markus Ng. Studying BA Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I'll be going into my final year. I'm from PJ, and I'll be flying off on the 22nd of September with Qatar Airways very, very early in the morning.
Ng Bee Nee, of no relation to Markus Ng though I live very near him in PJ. Hehe. I'm going into my final year BA English Language. Will be flying off from KLIA 30th Sept, night flight on MAS.
Benjamin Miow, I will be pursuing Ba Economics L100 in University of Essex and this is my first year. I live in subang jaya and will be flying off from KLIA on the 25th september on THAI Airlines at 8.15Pm

Name's Ruzanna. A fresh Essex graduate :) Born and bred in Brunei. I did BA Economics, which proved to be quite a toughie (don't worry Ben you'll be fine; just look out for the second year ;)). Right now I'm waiting to see if my Masters application is approved, while at the same time applying for jobs just in case...
In my first year I stayed in Josephine Butler House. Second year I stayed in Richard Wood House, and for my final year I got the same flat but in a different (and smaller) room.

regarding transportation:
- when going to London I usually took the train, to take advantage of my Young Persons' Railcard - 1/3 off railfare after 10 am.
- a single from Colchester station to London Liverpool Street on Young Persons' Railcard (without Travelcard) is 11.55 pounds (this might increase after the summer i'm guessing). Return costs vary - if you're coming back the same day you can get Cheap Day Return. Sometimes 2 singles could be cheaper instead of buying return. You can buy train tickets in advance from the post office at uni.
-The main train station in Colchester is Colchester Station (also known as Colchester North), Colchester Town Station, Hythe Station and Wivenhoe Station.
-If you don't have a railcard taking the coach can be quite cheap too and there's a National Express bus stop just down the hill. Be sure to check the timetable at nationalexpress.com as most of the services run via Stansted airport i.e. you have to wait there before the coach resumes its journey to London Victoria.
